SKIN1004 in Orlando: Building a Retail-Grade K-Beauty Showcase

K-beauty keeps landing in the U.S. with more ambition every season, and SKIN1004 gave us one of the cleaner briefs of the year: build a stand in Orlando that feels like the brand’s product does — quiet, precise, and about the ingredient rather than the noise. Beaver XP took it end to end: design development, carpentry and millwork, large-format graphic production, freight, and on-site installation.

SKIN1004 blue dome backdrop with oval product display table
The stand as it read from the aisle — one arched dome, one curved wall, nothing competing with it.

The whole design hangs on a single anchor. A full-height arched dome carrying deep-ocean imagery sits inside a curved white wall with dimensional SKIN1004 lettering, and everything else was deliberately held back so the dome and the product carry the booth. An oval island table in soft grey-blue was sized so buyers could walk the full ring of product without crowding each other, and slim column pedestals step the hero SKUs up to eye level.

Rotating wheel product display and sculptural coral detail
A rotating wheel unit with fitted product trays, and sculptural coral forms at the base of the dome.

Two details did most of the work on the floor. Sculptural white coral forms at the dome’s base carry the brand’s nature story without a single line of explanatory graphic — visitors read it before they read any copy. And a freestanding rotating wheel with fitted product trays gave attendees a reason to stop, turn something, and pick a product up. Interaction beats signage every time.

Suspended circular SKIN1004 ring sign above the show floor
The suspended fabric ring, engineered and rigged by our own crew.

Overhead, a suspended circular fabric ring pulled the brand above the sight line of every neighbouring stand, which is what keeps a mid-size booth findable from the far end of a crowded hall. The wall graphics and the dome panel were printed in our own shop and fitted to the millimeter — on a graphic that large, a two-millimeter gap at the seam is the thing everyone sees.

The booth was fabricated and fully staged at our La Mirada, California shop before a single crate shipped, then trucked to Orlando and installed by the same crew that built it. That is the part that does not show up in photos and matters most on move-in day.
